Steve Farquhar

Steve thrives on the variety and challenges of insolvency, where no two days or jobs are the same. He gets satisfaction from helping directors and stakeholders navigate the pressure and complexities of an insolvency appointment and seeing distributions being made to creditors.

Steve was previously an Associate Director in PwC’s Business Restructuring Services practice, where he worked on some of the largest liquidation, receivership and voluntary administration assignments. He then worked in the restructuring division for a mid-size accounting firm for 2.5 years before joining the McDonald Vague team.

Steve has expertise in undertaking investigations and pursuing recovery actions for the benefit of creditors. He is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and a member of RITANZ (Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association of NZ) and INSOL International.
